Growing up we often vacationed in South Carolina with my aunt & uncle’s family. This recipe was one I always looked forward to my aunt making while we were there! This dessert is smooth and creamy with the perfect blend of tart and sweet.


Easy Key Lime Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- 10 sheets graham crackers crushed
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 7 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 2 (14 oz) cans sweetened condensed milk I use Eagle Brand
- ¾ cup key lime I use Mrs. Biddle's Key West Key Lime Juice
- ½ cup sour cream
- zest of 3 key limes
Optional: sliced key limes, whipped topping, and/or additional key lime zest for topping & garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix together the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and butter. Press into a 9" pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Blend together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, sour cream, and key lime zest with a hand held mixer. Stir with a spoon after blending to release some of the air bubbles (it makes for a smooth top on the pie). Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
- Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
