Easy Key Lime Pie Recipe

Simply Styled and Well Seasoned

Ingredients
  

  • 10 sheets graham crackers crushed
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 (14 oz) cans sweetened condensed milk I use Eagle Brand
  • ¾ cup key lime I use Mrs. Biddle's Key West Key Lime Juice
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • zest of 3 key limes

Optional: sliced key limes, whipped topping, and/or additional key lime zest for topping & garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Mix together the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and butter. Press into a 9" pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  • Blend together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, sour cream, and key lime zest with a hand held mixer. Stir with a spoon after blending to release some of the air bubbles (it makes for a smooth top on the pie). Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
  • Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
